I'm in support of this as long as other concessions are not made because his schedule may differ from the middle school. I think it's great he's advanced academically but think that letting him play is one thing but delaying practice, buses for travel and other things you may need to accept as trades for being allowed to play. I wish him the best of luck and hope that an agreement between you and this board can be made.

This too happened to me in Nashua when I was a kid. I was allowed to play based off my age, not my grade. I was a successful player right up through high school with great memories! Please reconsider.

No child should be penalized to not play with children their own age, just because they moved up in school academics. He’s still in a child’s body. He should play sports with children his own age!
Let him play with kids his age and physical size.
