The adults on this Board need to take a hard look at the rules and at themselves and re-think their decision. If you're truly running a child-centered organization, you'll find a way to make this work for Cooper.

Baseball is based on age during this period of life. Not allowing him to play with his peers is discrimination and prejudice. Let him play with his age appropriate pers. This child is gifted don't base his physical ability with his intelligence. That is so unfair

Players should play with teams based on date of birth. Not grade. Absolutely. The same is done for kids who play behind so why not kids who are ahead?

He should play with kids his of own age and physical development. Surely that makes sense? Figure out WHY the rules are as they are, and find an accommodation.

I too support the parents wishes here. Where can common sense be found in our community if the decision makers refuse to let a child play in the age group they are clearly documented to be in? Let Connor play in his birth age group!!!

Let him play! If you allow older children who have been held back to play there is ZERO reason an appropriate aged child should not be playing at his age level!
