Mrs. Lawrence was my 6th grade teacher at Tioga Center. Her first year of teaching and before she was married. My daughter was on her first softball team. I have many fond memories of her. She was a true inspiration to many children and hope this petition will be effective and having the school named for her.

When I was in high school they had a student teacher program and I was fortunate to be with Connie - She was the best teacher and administrator that this district will ever see - She loved ALL the students - It would be most appropriate to name the new elementary school after her and I urge the school board to please listen to the voices of the people that sign this petition

I never had Connie for my sixth grade teacher as I got moved to Gladden school but she was always part of my life when I was at Talcott St. School. She was a compassionate and caring teacher even to those who weren't in her class. A most memorable teacher.

I had Mrs. Lawrence for sixth grade. She was an excellent, caring teacher and a major influence on me. I would like to see the beautiful new school named to honor her influence on many young Owego minds.

Mrs. Lawrence was an angel whose kindness and compassion went well beyond the classroom. There were so many wonderful teachers in the Owego schools, but to name the elementary school after Connie Lawrence would keep her life's work alive for many generations to come.

One of the best teachers. Did up with life day and taught me how to be the person I am today. Inspired me to join the military if which I have served for nearly 20 years to include Afghan & Iraq. A true legend a hero! Hands down this school needs to be named in her honor & memory!
