Owego should be proud to name the new elementary school after Mrs Lawrence. She touched so many through her years of teaching in the OA School District. All anyone has to do is ask any of her students or faculty that she worked with. I believe the new elementary school in Owego should be named after one it's greatest mentors and educators.

As a parent of 3 children who were Blessed to have had "Mrs" Lawrence in their lives... what a perfect name to represent a beautiful school that, hopefully, will carry on all that she held dear for educating and raising fine young children. Many of the students she worked with have done great things in places near & far.

OMG, what a WONDERFUL lady she was. And I never had her for a teacher. I had detention once and she tas the supervising teacher. She was so pretty and so polite to all of us miscreants!!

I had the privilege of getting to know Mrs. Lawrence thru school and church, she was one of a kind, she loved each and every one of us, and we all loved her. Re naming the school in her honor is a wonderful idea, she would be proud to see her name was n the school she loved
