Our home borders the forest and we are concerned that shooters are being unsafe. We have heard shots fired at 11 pm. A careless shooter could cost a hiker or homeowner their life. Please consider this petition. Thank you.

I have children that go riding out there with my husband. Please don't let someone have to die before you make it a no shooting area.

Because of apparent sportsman blatant disregard of basic principles of target shooting, changes must be made. The vandalism and abuse to our community require immediate changes. I agree with this petition.

I totally agree with this effort to stop shooting of firearms within 1/2 mile of possibly occupied residences. I suggest that Arizona Game and Fish and the Navajo County Sherriff be involved in this issue.

I have been very worried about hiking because of the indiscriminate shooting. Additionally, these shooters leave their shooting litter all over the forest, and, they are destroying public property by shooting USFS signage.
