We, the Unionized Members of The SEPNU have decided to adopt Conference Election (One Man, One Vote) method to elect our Reps into the upcoming inaugural election.

This is an unanimous decision reached during our Congress, however the CTC under the Chairmanship of Comrade Emmanuel Olomuyouvbe has hijacked and disregarded the majority decision by surreptitiously handpicked delegates to conduct Special Branch Delegates Election.

We are saying this is anti-democratic, anti-people, draconian, oppressive, suppressive and killing the spirits behind Unionism.

We are saying...One Man One Vote (OMOV) or nothing else.

Aluta continua!!!

The feedback I keep hearing from everyone is just how tired we all are of these backroom deals and the handpicking that ignores exactly what our congress voted for in the first place. I spent all morning talking to people who are just as frustrated as I am because it really feels like they are banking on us giving up or just forgetting the whole thing entirely. We are not going anywhere though and honestly the silence from the leadership only makes me keep pushing harder on this whole one man one vote thing.

Seeing the momentum building here is honestly wild because it proves that we are all tired of the same old backroom deals being forced on us. I never thought so many people would actually feel this electricity behind the movement but it makes me feel like maybe we can finally push back against this delegate nonsense. We have to keep this fire burning because they are definitely watching us now.

I am in full support of the "one man, one vote" cause to eliminate any aorta of marginalisation that can destroy the essence of unionism

One man - One vote (OMOV) will not only show transparency and integrity of the election process but will also demonstrate confidence in the people elected. The PENGASSON Constitution empowers the members for OMOV. The CTC Chairman should not act in his selfish interest rather should uphold resolution of the last congress that had an overwhelming mandate of ONE MAN ONE VOTE demand by the dues paying members of the Union.

One man One vote make everyone have sense of belonging and makes the winner accountable.

True democracy is when the people( the led) involved in choosing the ( lead) who should lead them. Let the people's voices be heard, don't stifle them. Vox populi vox dei

Few min gods jettisoned the will of majority of PENGASSAN SEPNU Branch to progress Delegate Branch election as against Conference Branch Election as loudly expressed by majority in our the Branch Congress held. Injury to one is injury to all

Failure of OMOV in this process could very easily lead to the demise of the SEPNU PENGASSAN Branch
