Disgraceful, typical of city councils who are not personally impacted by this, don't vote for them for any public office!

These Houses were sold by the Council in the full knowledge that their roofs were made from faulty RAAC concrete and yet did not inform those who purchased them of this fact. In all honour, and for the sake of true justice, the Council should offer financial compensation to help restore the buildings to a safe state.

I respectfully request the immediate assistance and for the Scottish Parliament to allocate a budget to support struggling homeowners in the Balnagask area who purchased ex-council homes without being informed about the use of substandard building materials. I also implore the UK Government to do likewise, and so bring an end to the suffering and uncertainty faced by these homeowners through no fault of their own. I also ask that the Council of Aberdeen reconsiders the withholding of financial assistance to these affected homeowners especially who were misled by the absence of notification regarding (RAAC) in their properties. It is imperative that the council takes responsibility for the hazardous conditions present in these properties and fulfills its obligation to rectify them. Yours sincerely Patrick Edwards

It only seems to be an area that the usual Cronies have earmarked for industrial development, what about the other houses in Aberdeen built at the same time with the same material, there doesn’t seem to be any urgency to get them out of their homes

The Council as builders must have an obligation to assist rental and home owners in Torry with applicable costs

Isaiah 32:18 "My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, undisturbed places of rest" Having personally realised this promise, I pray this to be the experience for these precious children of God.

I do not live in Aberdeen or know anyone who does, but I am signing this petition as it is disgraceful of the council to treat residents like this and provide no assistance or support to them. I hope you can get help and justice for these homeowners.

The council built those houses and they sold them on even though they didn’t know of the issues at the time maybe they did. They have to help home owners
