We need new staff at Heidedal Police Station. From Station Commander downwards

The service at this station is beyond pathetic. Batho Pele principles doesn't apply here

Heidedal has become absolutely disgusting. No service delivery, poor municipal drainage, illegal foreigners have put our people out of business. Children have to walk in the street on their way to school because sidewalks are full of garbage or overgrown bushes. There is pot holes all over heidedal that has been there for years and nothing is being done about it. The police station can only certify documents, that's it. They are nowhere if you need them and it seems as though they are unable to answer the phone. The station commander was part of the ashbury neighborhood watch whatsapp group in the beginning but at the first criticism of the police he left the group. You'll find more police officers in Twin City Mall than you'll find at the police station. They are arrogant because they are doing us a favour according to them. The neighborhood watch has been significantly more effective than the police but communities are plagued with crime by the same people even after the neighborhood watch catches them and hands them over to the police.

I fully agree, the neighborhood watch does not get the support of the police station as they should. The community at large is suffering the consequences.
