Campaign to make social education in schools compulsory across all European Countries.
Final supporters
We are young people and we want to make social education compulsory in all schools in Europe. We want a proper curriculum and we want topics such as mental health, confidence, addiction, human rights, sexual health, staying safe on the internet, history of their country, voting systems, healthy diet, politics, jobs, further education and other topics relevant to each different country. This class will not be tested but we believe pupils will gain a key range of skills from this class and we want all pupils in high schools to have this class. Some European countries have good social education and we want these systems to be introduced all over Europe.

We need this everywhere. Not just in some countries. If we want a better future for europe we have to teach the next gen how to actually function as adults.
FINALLY. Schools are teaching us things we will literally never use while ignoring real problems like mental health and basic safety. About time someone did something.
Hope this goes through. Its actually crazy how many adults dont know how voting works. Fix the curriculum.
Agreed. Every teen needs to know how to navigate the internet and understand their rights. So much pressure on us today and zero guidance.

Schools focus way too much on test scores and not enough on actual life skills. Kids leave school not knowing how to pay taxes or even talk about their feelings. This needs to happen.
