To not teach inclusive is both a form of discrimination and a serious endangerment to young peoples health.

Such as any other matter, in fact that's what we need - not somehow but in fact we do. As a psychology student, i've done research projects for investigation, as i got on the last phase of this research, 85% of the subjects interviewed concluded it was necessary to educate our children, also blame the lack of information/education 'cause it causes prejudices. Hope we can make a change and we stick on the side of humanity.

This would have made a world of difference to my schooling and about time we sorted this out. FFS.

I think all schools should be educating kids about serious and important issues like consent, domestic violence, LBGT related issues etc instead of allowing the homophobia to continue educate them first and get rid of the ignorance and hate that is implemented in their young developing minds.

All growing adults should have a full understanding of sex, relationships and keeping safe health.

This is now so important as too many young gay guys are contracting HIV and other serious STIs.

Sexual and emotional health education has been excluding LGBTQI youth for too long, leaving us ignorant, at risk and fostering ignorance and prejudice amongst peers.

Young people deserve better. SRE is a human right & should be inclusive of LGBTI people

I think SRE is very important, talking about forming healthy relationships and providing educations for young people to make informed choices is essential. Teachers need to be provided with proper training in order to deliver an good SRE lesson. I know even fabulous teachers who would want to deliver such a session, but wouldn't know how to discuss trans* and gender identity.
