Inclusive SRE is really important. in addition to many families not discussing sex at all, many are uninformed or misinformed about LGBTI sexual matters. Normalising this will also reduce ignorance and bullying.

My gay son and his peers had no attention paid to this subject at all in the Section 28 days and he was bullied mercilessly. It affected his whole life. That should never happen again for today's young people..

This should be made compulsory in all schools, so that LGBTI people don't have to be afraid of what they really are and who they are and so they feel completely accepted in the UK.

We've thankfully left Victorian or witch-burning Britain behind. Kids get allsorts from Web: let them get facts from their schools to combat bullying!

Incredibly important to stop spread of HIV and other STIs as well as encourage an atmosphere of equality and inclusion.

This would be a monumental and honest progress in todays society. Education needs to reflect society to benefit everyone's future. The media today is honestly warping the conception of sex and relationships and will only cause detriment to our tolerance and respect for other genders, sexualties and races.

As a gay man, I have experienced first hand what a lack of appropriate, inclusive SRE does on an individual. Please don't condemn another generation to simple and stupid mistakes and pitfalls!

I wish for our society to flourish and believe that to be possible when each person can safely be themselves. I call for comprehensive sex and relationship education as I believe that this will support the development of a better society.

Context, education and (in)iquity underpin respect, co-existence and challenge divisive "received doctrines". We are all here. We all always have been >1million years (genus homo). Bounderies are created by maopic elites as excuses.

There are lots of charities around the UK who currently offer such services but these are consistently not being utilized by schools who have other priorities. Young people who are identify as LGBTQIA+ are already minoritized by society, peers, institutions and often their families too. They SHOULD be a priority! Most people are aware that they are not heterosexual or cisgender in primary school, but most dont gain the termonology to describe themselves until late teens or adulthood, often learning these from damaging sources. Meanwhile the other side of the classroom is learning that we dont matter and they are free to marginalize and ignore us becasue if school does it why shouldnt they?! When you then start to look at the suicide rates this becomes all the more terrifying as to why it's not a priority. LGBTQIA+ young people are dying, and they are dying becuase of government inaction. This needs to happen, and it WILL save lives.

My catholic school gave the bare minimum sex education as it was, and there was absolutley no mention of LGBTI relationships; it should be included as well as info about porn and consent in order to adequately educate and protect young people

I'm a bisexual woman working in education. LGBT+ inclusive SRE is still woefully lacking and many children are expressing homophobic views in numeruous classes when LGBT+ issues arise. This means that LGBT+ kids are feeling unwelcome, and unable to ask questions in case it outs them. We ALL need to know how to have safe sex.

In C.21 it is more important than ever, and utterly correct that our children are educated about consent, sexual violence, porn and the internet, and unhealthy relationships.

This is something I never received in school and spent a lot of time trying to find out for myself. I hope future generations of LGBT don't have to ask and search for what everyone else seems to just get given because they're assumed to be straight.

I teach my 7 year old about all types of relationships, and how exciting, and important, diversity is amongst people. Through this teaching she will grow into a more open minded-aware individual. Her choices are her own, educating children doesn't force them to be somebody they will never be. Educating children prepares them, so when they are faced with experiences and challenges, they are better able to work through them.
