Comporium Cable Investigation - Monopoly

Comporium is a fraction away from charging 200.00 a month for basic cable ... this type of price need some type of balance, that works for c Customers and Comporium, not just for Comporium. Comporium is long time family owned and trusted company, and their are a lot of people that have been with Comporium since they started, and would like to stay with them, but can not afford the prices. I and alot of the community, would like Comporium to work the community.

Common knowledge that Comporium’s relationship with area cities smells of corruption.

I can't get internet in my area because comporium has a lock and I'm not paying fifty bucks a month for thirty mbs when I can get At&t 300mbs for sixty!! This is outrageous and I'm sick of the Monopoly that is Comporium

I'm tired of not having a choice and paying outrageous rates for basic tv.

People in this area have never had good internet and don't know what they are missing. Moxis are old and defunct and Other companies in this area are not using old IPv4. They are way behind the times.

We keep having to get more channels removed for the extreme price of service. When, we lived in NC had Spectrum with wifi,cable, DVR,&PHONE our bill was more then $80.00 less. To now pay more just for basic channels,& wifi, that now has been out for 24hrs wifi& half channels we pay for. I believe it's wrong to charge extreme prices for little to no service really at all!! And, York Electric is over 150 a month too with a 1 income household with 6 people. We can barely afford to keep groceries for the prices of these utilities & rise in mortgage pricing also. When, are people who are just doing the best they can to survive paycheck to the next that's now changed to bi-weekly. I've never had such disgust for the costs in York Cnty,& we moved here to have a better safer place for our 4 children. Someone's got to get these costs down. Between needing wifi, for schooling & starting a business to create a second income it's not possible when, Comporium can't even maintain the services working we pay extreme cost for!!

I am sick of Comporium so overpriced.

I want another option besides Comporium for internet. The only option I have is Comporium and their service sucks.

They keep going up and the service gets worse. I ask why the bills keep going up they said the stations are changing more found out it was fake. They should give retired people a discount

MONOPOLY!!! Need I say more? They lie about service they CAN provide and you don't even get close to promised speeds. or service. Same exact problems in Lancaster as Rockhill city.

Monopoly must be dissolved so that competition can drive the market pricing/quality

Moving back from Myrtle Beach to Rock Hill was great until I had to switch my internet and cable provider... CONporium is so awful and the monopoly shows how scared they are about having competition. In this area alone there should be multiple providers this has to be unconstitutional/ illegal but money buys loopholes...

Comporium has no competition, accordingly their service is terrible and overpriced. How can monopolies exist so blatantly?

Comporium should not be allowed to monopolize internet services.

They have now tried to charge me $60,000 in connect and disconnect fees for my company. They are literally evil.

This is such ashame that as a consumer I don’t have choice to choose another provider for internet and cable. Please make a change to this monopoly.

Need free open market

We need competition

we need spectrum. i have been told that they continue to be a monopoly because they refuse to lease their lines as other communities and company's have. the area is vast for any company to commit money to infrastructure to get started. we will continue to be under this monopoly until the barns family decides to sell out to a national brand. they are afraid if they do lease line it would devalue their net worth

I called AT&T U-Verse, since that's what my dad and sister have. I had to settle for Dish and Hughes Net.
