I'd love to be able to get on the Tarka Trail from Hatherleigh without having to cycle on the road

Working in Hatherleigh I drive this section quite regularly and I often meet cyclists along this stretch on dangerous corners. It would be so much safer for them to be "off road ".

Just make so much sense. Being able to get to Hatherleigh via the Tarka Trail will really complete the experience of travelling along the length. CCC we just need to get this done it really is a no-brainer:-).

This would remove the danger of cycling on the road from Hatherleigh to Meeth.

I feel this would be a very good idea because it is such a shame when you get to Meeth you just have to use a main road to continue, which is neither safe or as interesting! Particularly if you have young children with you on bikes or even walking.

Would be so good for us to be able to walk or cycle in safety.

This would be fantastic as those, like me, who live in Petrockstowe, could cycle to work. I would love to be more green but at the moment the options for cycling to Hatherleigh are either a long and hilly detour through Sheepwash or a lethal main road.

What's wrong with following the railway line from Meeth to Hatherleigh?

Why stop at Hatherleigh? The railway line ran to Holsworthy and so should the cycle trail.

Be good to see this completed
