Complete the missing link in the Tarka Trail between Meeth Quarry nature reserve and the Market town of Hatherleigh

Please connect it up - our family would love to go all the way to Hatherleigh!

Great way to connect meeth and hatherleigh with a nice walk without having the worry of walking there by road. It would be a nice way to bring more tourism to the community.

Cycling on the road is extremely dangerous, the quieter route is too hilly, therefore I have had to stop using the trail for bike riding. I am unable to put my bike in my car. I fully support the link being completed.

I live in Highampton and it would be brilliant to be able to get on the Tarka trail using the parts of the Ruby way without going on road too much.

This would be such a valuable link to so many people

At the moment the end of the trail is a little disappointing. To continue it to Hatherleigh would make a wonderful ending. Visiting Hatherleigh, taking in the sights, stopping for coffee or lunch would be a perfect end to the Trail.

Long needed, no offence but Meeth is a dead end. The alternative is a hilly detour from Petrockstowe or braving the trucks on the main road.

Occasional recreational user of the Tarka Trail with children. Would love to see it linked to Hatherleigh.

Opening this section of the Tarka Trail would make a huge improvement of access for local and visiting walkers , runners and people with disabilities . At present it is not realistically accessible to these groups without using a car .

With this link I could cycle from my home in Hatherleigh to Torrington and beyond. Likewise, so many cyclists and walkers could visit Hatherleigh. The road to Meeth is too dangerous for walkers and all but the strongest cyclists.

This would be amazing to complete the link and could also benefit Madewell as people using the route could stop off at Madewell to use their excellent cafe .

This can only do good. Let's hope we do not have to wait too long.

Tarka Trail is unique. Extending the trail can only be of benefit.

Like all other routes in uk this needs completing. Ashcurch to Evesham and Ilfracombe to braunton

Let’s put right the missing link, to make this a safe, accessible route.

Hatherleigh is visited by cyclists and this route needs to be added to the possibilities. The A road is too windy and dangerous for cyclists.
