We are presenting this petition in order to express our deep concern with the misguiding statement of the European parliament report on the people of Amhara in its recent resolution—European Parliament resolution on the situation in Ethiopia (2016/2520(RSP).

Amhara has been a target of genocide under the current Tigrean minority regime let alone to benefit with Tigres.

It's very annoying that theTPLF government in Ethiopia brutally murdering, arresting & evacuating people from their own place in the name of development. specialy the amharas. This group has been trusted and funded by the wastes for more than two decades. The money has been used to create only Ritchie Tigraiance under name of the company called effort which is based on TigrI. I would like to confirm that the European Union & developing countries to stop giving or funding for the brutal government in Ethiopia.

The European union has done a good job regarding the behavior of the TPLF lead Ethiopian government. The report only sees cases of particular group of Ethiopians but the report and the request should include the Amharas, the long time abused, killed and suffered people of Ethiopia for the last 25 years, through out Ethiopia. As we speak, the people of Welkaite Tegede and Telemt are facing intimidation, killings, arbitrary arrest and forced language change and unable to listen Amharic music. These are equally important human rights issues that need attention as well. We Ethiopians request the European union and members countries to look this issue very seriously and make the TPLF lead government accountable.
