Complaint to AQA - Unit 1 and 2 Sociology exam 11/05/2015 and 14/05/2015

Not happy with the paper as it wasnt due to the knowledge we never learnt.

Highly unacceptable to give a GCSE student something that's not even in the specification. The grade boundaries must be lowered!

My granddaughter had to sit these exams and was most distressed that she didn't understand the questions.

I'm an A grade student, I've done nearly every past paper available however, in this test I must of just scraped a C or under which is a total let down, Anomie was never in a AQA revision book such an unfair test it ruined everything.

I found the two papers extremely unfair! Not knowing the terms within the start of the papers completely knocked my confidence and i feel like it affected how i answered the rest of the questions. Its ridiculous how the term 'Cereal packet' and 'anomie' were included when it was not in the spec. Whats also shocking is that all three of my sociology teachers had not came across the term 'anomie' and they have the degree. So how on earth at 15/16 supposed to know. Absolutely ridiculous.

I am a teacher and can understand how both the students and teachers must be feeling. There needs to be a change in the mark scheme to address this

It would be great if they actually listened.

Past sociology papers were all consistent and i would have got an A* but AQA has ruined me now im hoping that i could scrape a B

My daughter sat this exam and agrees that the syllabus was not reflected in the exam paper.
