I'm an A grade sociology student and this paper completely threw me off, I don't even know if I'll scrape a B let alone an A. So unfair

It's an absolute disgrace that for the last two years students have been working extremely hard only to be hit with a paper that neglects most of what they learned.

As sociologists Marxists would say that this is capitalism. Since we go to a comprehensive school you gave us an outrageous paper so the bourgeoisie can stay rich and the poor to stay poor by exploiting us which is reproducing inequality. Functionalist would say we live in a meritocratic society but according to this paper, society is not equal as we received a level content in the GCSE exam. Were we meant to learn these key terminology through the hidden curriculum? I think not. If thing like this came up in the exam, I pretty sure this petition wouldn't exist and students would continue to achieve high as we work hard therefore we can earn an achieved status which allows us to access social mobility. Due to this being a democratic society, I believe if we get enough signatures the grade boundaries should be lowered by at least 8 marks because of the inadequate content.
