Topics were not covered in GCSE - Only in A level spec

This exam was ridiculous. I'm an A grade student in sociology who has been achieving A*s all year. I will be lucky to get a B in this paper.

Why have they included items that are A-level based questions?

I'm not the greatest sociology student when it comes to writing essays so the marks lost for those A level terms could be the diffrence between me passing or failing the exam

It was unfair to add in content which the students were unaware they needed to know. GCSEs are hard enough but to add in Alevel subjects was utterly unfair. Exams are stressful enough students will cram in as much content as they possibly can to get the highest grades and spend years on it. Then aqa decide that all of that is irrelevant and picking random words would be better ? A better way yo show somebodys intelligence. There were plenty of questions for you to ask yet you decided on that.

This is truly unfair, how could they prepare for questions that shouldn't have been part of the exam

I didn't take this subject but most of my friends did and they told me how difficult it was and the use of a A level term in the exam. I think that is unfair and needs to be examined.

I also thought the chemistry paper was extremely hard, much harder than any of the past papers I have done

That paper was extremely hard. It's ludicrous to be unfair to one year when you have been consistent to all the others.

I felt disadvantaged in this exam due to the questions being asked were not the spec. How are we supposed to answer alevel questions when I am only a GCSE student???
