Complaint to AQA - Unit 1 and 2 Sociology exam 11/05/2015 and 14/05/2015

Very hard paper some of the questions were out of the spec!

The exam was terrible,i believe the grade boundries should be lowered!

This to be completely honest, a complete and utter disgrace. You're exam questions are a disgrace, the AQA is a disgrace and the fact that you think it is acceptable to include A level terms in a GCSE paper is also, an utter disgrace. I have an amazing teacher who has prepped me over the course of two years, taught us everything on the spec and THEN some. Who has done the very best to give us the very best chance and we have worked ourselves to death trying to reach these standards, I have had an A* on every mock paper we have done EVERY week and know I'm unsure as to whether I have even PASSED. ohhhhhhhhh, putting questions in your exam that are actually on the GCSE specification? why would we do that? fuck you.

AQA have been totally incompetent here. You cant expect GCSE students to answer A level questions. My daughter wants to continue studying sociology and this could affect her chances.

Why are the sociology exams so close together? Do you not understand what we have to go through during this exam period? We need TIME! The questions are just absurd!

I really didn't like both exams, especially paper 2. I found it unfair that we were asked questions that weren't taught by our teachers.

The exam this year was much harder that any past papers our school has ever practiced and I agree that we were placed in a disadvantaged position. Clearly, others also felt this way so grade boundaries for the 2015 sociology AQA exam should be lowered.

This exam has knocked my confidence massively, I had digested all of the revision one could possibly do before an exam, and then some. There were words on these papers that I had never come across, the total marks for these words could be the difference of a grade. This complete incompetence is disgraceful, I am now terrified for the rest of my exams - as most follow AQA exam board as well. What is this teaching me? That no matter how hard I try, no matter how much revision I do, it will not make a difference. It is 'luck of the draw' to whom gets their desired grade. It all depends on what half wits write the questions. Fix it now, or suffer the consequence of the country slipping further down the academic achievement league table.

It is an unfair test on the students sitting this exam that the conrtent included was A-Level graded content and not in the specification

This is frustrating, people all over the country are relying on grades to get into college and this could have ruined there chance of getting on the course they want! We need the grade boundaries lowered so we actually have a chance!!

I feel as though we've been put at a huge disadvantage because of the use of A level terms in a GCSE exam. Also I feel like a large percentage of students will not be able to achieve to their full potential and it wasn't ethical or morally right to include something students in the UK weren't taught. AQA I am disgraced and you guys are life ruiners

It has had a real impact on my confidence tackling my other exams also. So it would only be just for this to be rectified, by lowering the grade boundaries significantly. A complete failure on behalf of AQA.

So frustarted with this, it was not fair and has only added pressure to us which we really don't need right now.
