I didn't sit this paper, but I know that this has caused a lot of stress to my best friend who sat the paper, understandably you want to challenge these students but wouldn't you do this within the gcse specification, a lot of students will now lack in confidence due to this test paper, and my concidered opinion is that you take the matter into concideration and lower grade boundaries

Absolutely disgusted by what my daughter has told me. I thought this was a GCSE exam paper, not an A level one?...........I'm frankly appalled by the AQA for confusing and causing so much distress to students all over the UK.

never been taught what an 'anomie' was. Papers were fairly hard compared to past paper questions.

The grade boundries should be lowerd due to the questions being hard and higher than gcse standards!!!

The questions were completely unreasonable. Some of the questions and keywords were not even on the specification. I am usually quite confident in Sociology and have only gotten A*s on my recent past papers and trial exams. This leads to my frustration with the Unit 2 paper especially. My confidence has gone down the drain and I feel as though the test will not represent my abilities. AQA has just taken it too far.

I sat these exams to be horribly surprised by a-level terminology which I had not learnt in class.

Very unfair as it was a GCSE exam and there were A level questions on

I agree, unit 2 was the worst as I was faced with questions about key terms that were not in the revision guides i had been using. As me and my friends discussed the paper afterwards we was all shocked by the questions that were ask.

I am a 16 year old student at the bluecoat academy nottingham , i took this exam ,although i fount it do-able , some of the terms were a little tough to get your head around as they were A level and so it may not have been me but other students collapssed and lost marks
