This exam has been the worst exam by far. It was so difficult and we had not been taught any of the key words, in class. Also the layout of the exam was very different to what we were used to, this threw alot of people. I think the grade boundaries should be lowered.

My daughter has done many past papers leading up to her GCSE exam this year. She felt the paper was extremely hard and felt there were questions on topics that hadn't been covered!! She was predicted an A but is now worried she will get a much lower grade !

This is unfair to the students. I sincerely hope that they all get the marks they deserve and worked so hard for!!

I looked in the AQA revision guide and some of the terms weren't in there either. I thought this exam was extremely hard aswell.

Completely appalled by this outrage! Not only did AQA put in A level terminology, but they had the cheek to give the hardest terms. We all demand the grade boundaries should be lowered!!

the words that we received are the words that we have never learnt. in was in two 4 markers so the mark boundary should be lowered by 8-9 marks

Id never seen the words before and although I did try to make educated guesses I do not think it was fair and it wasted time.

Seems really unfair to be asked questions on an exam paper that have never been covered?? How are our children meant to know the answers???

Exam contained terms that nobody knew about and should be taken into consideration.

Everyone deserves a fair shot! No one should be at a disadvantage just because of the year they were allocated the exam! All information should be on the spec, and any extra should certainly not have come from a higher level qualification.

A level questions and a different format than the specification unit 2 was the worst with this, therefore grade boundaries should be lowered for more equal and selective grades

I am extremely angry and disappointed that my daughter has studied very hard for this exam. They are stressful enough but to go through an exam with questions she would never have bern tsught the subject is completely unacceptable. There needs to be positive action to rectify this awful mistake. Surely papers are checked before approved so why was this not picked up then!!!
