I was promised my code on the 19th. I didn't get it. What the heck was the point in pre-ordering it if I wasn't gonna get it on day 1 in the first place? I'm upset, sure. But more than that I feel betrayed by Google. I stood up for Stadia when other people were bagging on it. I was hopeful and ultimately lied to.

Ordered June 6th, minutes after ordering became available. Still haven't recieved my code or my order, maybe I'll be able to play 1 week after the service launch which is absolutely abysmal considering I pre-ordered to be first in line...

We were told we would get the codes day one. Flat out lie.

The delay is a bummer, but pretending there is no problem with zero communication is a significant problem. $200 is half way to a new Xbox or PS5 next year.

Ordered on 6/11. Unit arrived yesterday. The team told me it could arrive in 48 hours from shipping. I was then told 48 hours from delivery and an additional 5 business days. They have no idea when the code will arrive.

The roll out has been terrible and shaken my confidence in googles abilities

Actually not even mad about the rollout itself, but the communication is just non existent.
If it was communicated there was no real launch date, but a rollout, well fine then we would know.

Google has dropped significantly in my eyes due to this failure. The lack of communication alone is enough for me to not want to buy their products again. If they have no respect for their customers, why should I support them?

No one I come in contact with regularly has failed to hear about my excitement for the stadia. I can honestly say there are few things in terms I've entertainment I've been more excited for and yet I'm forced to question if my purchase that I was so adamant about previously was even worth my time.

Very disappointed in the handling of this. Many misleading claims, and unkept promises.

It is incredible just how tone deaf this launch has been. From the grandiose promises about performance, software lineup and features, down to promises to founders that they would be the first to obtain their user names.
I would love to know how they expected their paying founders to be the first to get their names when they gave out FOUNDERS EDITIONS mind you, to the press a week and a half before launch. You know, that thing they said was "LIMITED"? Completely takes the wind and impact away from the entire idea.
To make matters worse, they made sure they got the kit and codes to the press ON TIME. Meanwhile they're paying customers, even the ones that ordered the minute sales went live, are still waiting not only for their founders editions to arrive, but also the codes to even use the hardware they bought.
The idea of treating this entire thing like a software rollout is completely asinine. Because this is something you're asking people to pay to use at launch. This isn't like their free software roll outs like gmail or their cloud based platforms like google docs and the like.
This is the video game industry, google. An industry where something like this is completely unacceptable. And the fact that you've done nothing and said nothing towards the people that have supported you from day one, shows just how tone deaf about this industry you truly are.
