We as the community of Daveyton/Benoni are not happy with the changes implemented by the Benoni Taxi Association. having to change Touting opperation without engaging the commuters and the implications that the change will have on our day to day travel.
The change will have a negetive effect on our daily routens, mostly affecting the Schollers and the elderly.
The has been many changes implimented in the past that has affected us greatly and we were silent about it.

The feedback from commuters is overwhelming. I am currently documenting every story shared so far to ensure they hear our frustrations.

This is ridiculous honestly! Every single morning I struggle to get to work because of these new rules. Nobody asked us what we wanted. It's time they start listening to the people actually paying for their service.
Please make it easy for us to get to our destination by working together in unity.
Im not happy about this, can they atleast be considerate, what about the elderly and sick people.
I don't like what they are doing to us, what ever they are doing is being selfish, first thing they didn't consult with the community and another thing we are riding taxi not them. It is very painful to be controlled by someone who doesn't the pain of suffering with transport. I can't even go to visit my mother because stupid decision taken by a fool than the whole community must suffer.
The disrespect we are dealing with from the BTA is out of this world they are making our lives difficult we can't just sit and not do anything about this they don't respect us period...

The BTA is being unfair to commutors and they fight E-hailing service for transporting people while they fail to do their job . In Daveyton the taxi industry doesn't think of commutors and worst of all it's the most expensive in Gauteng. They are not thinking of the people and when people find alternative ways they will fight them. Totally unfair
