Stop Danville Paranormal Investigations from exploiting the deaths at "Willow Weep" in Eugene, Indiana
In Eugene, Indiana is a house located at 5173 N Elm Tree Road. As with many homes in this community some of the past residents are deceased. Two of the past residents have died recently and still have parents, children, siblings and other family living in the community.
Danville Paranormal Investigations (DPI) aka Willows Weep claim the house is haunted by its former occupants and plan to open it as a “ghost hunting” business. Groups of 5-7 people will be allowed to “meet” and investigate the former residents from 7pm to 7am for a monetary fee. The back-stories being provided to their prospective clients of the former residents are fictitious and vulgar. These claims have also been posted on multiple WebPages by DPI. Many friends, family members and neighbors do not like the thought that this group is charging money to bring in clients to "see" their deceased relatives therefore exploiting the deaths for monetary gain. Sign our petition and put a stop to this exploitation.
A final decision as to whether DPI will receive their zoning permit will be made at the Commissioner’s Meeting on September 7, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Vermillion County Courthouse. All of the public is welcome to attend and your support is greatly appreciated by the friends and families who are being affected.

my grandma lived just down the road from willow weep and what these ghost hunters are doing is just sick. let those poor people rest in peace and stop making money off a tragedy that actually happened to real families.

I have read enough on the history of the house dating back to the late 19th century, while listening to the daughter and brother of the Skinner couple, to glean that Dave and the previous owner should be ashamed.
