I removed the time line, thanks for the info! When we were talking she said you were moving at the end of the year so that's why I put that there. But none the less, once you move they need to do something good with it so I am going to propose this to both the school district and the historical society.

I think turning this into a teen outreach or community center would be great our local teens have nothing productive to do with their free time in town so they turn to illegal activities if we gave them somewhere to go it might decrease these levels ...thank you

This school has many great memories and has helped me get through high school and actually graduate instead of dropping out my junior year, it needs to stay around to help other young children find their ways. Even a place for tutoring or after school activities.

They won't level it, it's a historical landmark. But it does need to be used for something good for the community and not sit empty.

I went to school here way back when and my grandpa went to school here back in the 30s this buiding has a lot to offer . Even tho I do not live here anymore I would love nothing more than it turned into something meaningful as it did way back when .

turning the community school building into a community center, in my opinion, is a wonderful idea. a place for the families in our small community to gather and join in town activities and programs would not only be benificial but i think is an essential part of any community that we have been lacking for too long.

It is a wonderful building. Lots of history. The preschool will be here next year. If and when a new building is built the school district will still own this building. They have not decide what they will use this building for but there is no talk of selling it. It is a great landmark within our town. I am sure what ever they decide to do with it in the future will have many more memories.
