Pastor Talbert a straight-up grifter. Pulling in $250K and ducking taxes cause she hiding behind that pastor title. Got folks out here dropping tithes like its going to God when its really just boostin her pockets. Auntie Madelyne been running cover for her since the Wyandanch days and now she be doing the same thing in Amityville. Same shady game. Keep it movin.

Dr. Gina Talbert is an amazing person. She models great leadership skills and is an individual who truly cares about student's education and the community. I couldn't think of another person to get the job done.

Man, Talbert has run back2back deficits in Amityville. Hurting our children. If she is so good why don’t Wyandanch take her back ? Hmm? Wyandanch is only now starting to recover after she left. Just Google Talbert / Wyandanch to see her work.

I work in this school
district, which is why I must remain anonymous but I need to speak the truth. Dr. Talbert has no meaningful relationship with her staff. She makes no effort to connect, support, or even acknowledge us. I’ve seen her in my building maybe once or twice this entire year. She doesn’t show up for school events, doesn’t stand with the students, and certainly doesn’t back the coaches, administrators, or staff who keep this place running. The teachers and staff are relieved her contract wasn’t renewed. This district has real challenges, but we show up every single day and pour everything we have into our students. Dr. Talbert has never once shown us that same commitment or respect. She runs the Superintendent Days as church revivals. We need a superintendent who is vested in the students and staff!

I'm an outsider, but when an individual goes beyond what their job function are to help our future adults, we must support them. Good Luck

All her church folks and preacher buddies up in these comments trying to keep her around. They are just trying to get a seat at the Amityville table like they did in Wyandanch. This whole petition is nothing but a self serving scam. I’ll pray for y’all!

Whoever cooked this up done lost they whole mind. In Wyandanch? Man, don’t forget that wild grade fixen mess. Had like 100 middle school kids grades straight up flipped under her. She only slid in the door in Wyandanch cause her man was running the school board and was straight up handed to her. You out here breaking your back trying to save somebody who ain’t worth saving. Let her ride off into that dusty retirement sunset and let Amityville finally clean up the wreckage she left behind. Wyandanch still hasn’t recovered from her mess.

Talbert destroyed Wyandanch and they fired her. Now she has destroyed Amityville. Why should Amityville be stuck with a bad employee? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out! The entire staff knows she is never in the district and is always at her church that she is a pastor for. All the people commenting are the people from her church, fellow pastors or Town of Babylon higher ups that protect her. She controls all jobs and contracts so they need her to stay superintendent so they get paid!

Dr. Talbert is a vital gift and asset to our community. The termination of her contract is ridiculous and a detriment to the district .

It is absolutely ridiculous to let go of Dr. Talbert and the Board members supporting this should be ashamed of themselves.

In her first year, Dr. Talbert has already made great progress, which included Amityville School District ranking top 25 schools on Long Island. Let’s not impede the progress she has achieved by bringing someone else who doesn’t care about the community and its children.
