This petition is for people to show support for a Nursery that provides an essential service in the area and have worked hard over many years to provide the level of service we do. It is a real shame that the HHCA want to force us to sign a ridiculous agreement without any negotiation in any form. We are happy to negotiate with the HHCA in any way possible.
This petition should not involve other user groups who do not want to be involved or other people unless they have any involvement in the HHCA.
Any information shared within this petition is all public information or information we are willing to share from our business. We do not condone any violence and it is highly unlikely anybody feels strongly enough to take an active part to cause disturbance to any person involved. Rumors of certain peoples houses being trashed and people approaching members of the association in the early mornings are just hear say at this point. If these rumors are true then this unacceptable and not the purpose of this petition. If people want to contact the HHCA then this can be done via letter or other contact methods online.

To add further: this does not constitute an exclusive agreement, and the way that the HHCA suspended me from the committee as soon as i had signed the confidentiality form (reluctantly) because i apparently breached it?! I am still none the wiser how i breached it after 7 months! It fills me with no confidence in the HHCA to use this clause to their advantage yet again.

colleen thornley i know a lot of the dancers were put out when the concern was raised about the dance floor, they thought the nursery was just causing problems. But as a nursery owner I was genuinely worried about the safety aspect, both for the kids dancing above and nursery children below. It still is not proven to be safe for the use of dance. We as a nursery have risk assessed it and children and staff do not operate at that end of the room when dancing is in progress, but at the end of the day we were just looking at the safety aspect of it

Also i forgot to add NO other user group as far as i am aware have had a rent increase in the last few years. It was £10 per hour years ago at least for the standard short term hire agreement that all the user groups sign. Why because we need an exclusive room use agreement (safeguarding reasons and practicality main reasons) do we get a huge increase? Also £15,000 per year is already a high rent for a room of approx 90m2 in the area. They really want to charge a lot more!?

It was us asking for the Early Years Team's help and the fact that we provide care to many funded children in the area that "saved" our nursery from the termination the Association served on us. The reason for this termination notice was partly due to the unprofessional manner in which an agreement was handled, and also for a nursery trying to safeguard it's setting from a safety concern raised by a NHS worker whilst visiting our provision. We have always paid rent on time, and we want to negotiate an agreement. It is the HHCA that do not want to negotiate, they just want to impose a almost 50% rent increase on an already high rent, and a few clauses that are unacceptable and could be altered or discussed.
We want the best for the community and would hope working together could be possible, it would save a lot of people a lot of pointless hassle! Including this!

tried to complain along with other people but council more or less saying she not acting in her official capacity so therefore they cant reign her in. I agree its stupid but we only want a fair agreement and rent. If the rent goes up by 50% it will reflect on the cost of the childcare and decrease the amount of funded places we can afford to offer as a nursery. Different to what people might think its an expensive business to run and staff. As a community facility private or not it should be encouraged, we haven.t found it has been. We think the dance group is a great way for the kids to enjoy and self express, but as the group settled into the centre, unfortunately came jean gillies as well, and I am not the first to say it had a very negative effect

Sorry gotta join in here. Jean Gillies has bad mouthed that nursery to members of the public, people in the school yard I have heard her say she was investigating a local nursery for safeguarding issues. What right has she to judge a children's nursery of which none of her kids have attended. I have heard her and it was totally unprofessional and I am sure she should have to work within guidelines as a Councillor of the ward. I think she needs reporting to the council for such bad behaviour

If you are a friend of Mellissa and Jean would you advise them to read the lease, it says community centre and childcare facility in plain terms we are a real nursery, honestly, unlike what Melissa is saying to the parents of our children

No i think you will find that it was the bolton council solicitor that convinced them to let us stay. But why did the committee need persuading to let us stay? You are the one who should find out all the facts before you comment. I have emails upon emails to prove Jean Gillies worked against the nursery in so many ways

still no contact from the chair lady Shelley Taylor. I know if she took a little time from convincing people that all on this site is one sided and showing no facts, she could even stop informing her friends that I am dishonest human being then maybe have time to respond to a straight forward question. Who composed and wrote said emails?

The lady who takes care of the accounts is a true professional, but she works full time and relies on the committee to feed back any information to her such as room usage and any issues. She is kept completely in the dark. And wont to mention she has done the accounts voluntarily since 2009

So regarding above letter two user groups want to use the room in the evenings if they are there for two hours each the committee will get 40 pounds. The nursery is there for at least ten hours a day Monday till Friday whatever they are paying now is a lot more than they can ever hope to make. What the hell is going on is the committee trying to run the community hall into the ground. have they never heard of a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. They are throwing money away who the hell is taking care of things?
