If this passes I will not go there with my son or anyone. Bringing alcohol into a family related fun business only causes problems.

I have no desire to bring my young children to a family fun day with the option of having adults drink alcohol and possibly cause problems. I will just take them to the river for that! Or i will start going to black river coliseum where i dont have to worry abt it!

I think it's wrong. Water and alcohol don't mix.

Not the example we want to set for the city.

It should be for family. Parents should be able to spend time with their children worry free. Alcohol at a water park is ridiculous due to children number one and liability number two.

We buy passes every year to have a place to spend an afternoon with our children. We will not be buying passes or visiting this location ar all if alcohol is served here. I'm not opposed to the sale of alcohol or safe consumption, however, there are too many other factors that come into play in this setting (unsupervised teens/pre-teens dropped off daily, school and daycare field trips, heat exposure while consuming alcohol beverages, small children who do not need to be exposed to people under the influence, I could go on and on.) This is the only place we have to take our children in the summer for local outdoor fun when it's hot. Please keep it as safe as possible. Poplar Bluff has a terrible drug problem as it is, offering alcohol in a water park is going to be disastrous.

If they do allow it, there needs to be limitations. Its a family park not a water bar.

This is a children's environment. This is no place for alcohol.

I do not think this is the type of business that should sell alcohol.

If they choose to allow alcohol, I will no longer bring my 3 grandchildren and their friends. What type of message are you trying to send to our youth? You must have alcohol to have an enjoyable time? Mixing water activities and alcohol consumption has been a point of public service announcements for years warning of the dangers. Please vote no on this.

If it was just for banquet rooms and no water involved and was private and park was closed would be one thing but alcohol and water doesn't mix and would make park a bad influence for children
