I'm signing this petition to have BUSD address and support not just Jewish students and our community, but to denounce anti-semitism, discrimination and hate speech towards people of any background or religion. It's important to take a stand against anti-semitism as a form of discrimination and hate speech.

BUSD need to remember whats important, the message should be: 1. Call publicly against Hamas terror actions 2. Support for Israel loss (slaughtered and kidnapped) 3. Free Gaza from Hamas terror, the palastine issue is not Israel, its Hamas And in general, BUSD should check their facts and do their homework before they say something wrong that is leading for anti-semitic comments by kids, Please think double how you want to educate our kids, whats important and whats less

It's a huge failure in leadership to fail to condemn anti-semitism at school. Please step up to help our kids feel safe at school.

Thank you for this. I definitely support. I don't think the current Israel-Hamas war is a result of thousands of years of conflict, reinforcing a narrative I do not agree with, but happy to sign up for supporting Jewish students in our schools.

BUSD should serve all students and not take political sides on this divisive issue.

All students have the right to feel safe in their school environment. All teachers who observe an anti-semitic reference or act, should be required to intervene immediately. Those who observe and do not act are condoning the words and/or actions.

I absolutely support this letter. If BUSD prioritizes student safety and well-being, as it says it does, than it must act to protect and support Jewish students at this time, as it should any students who are victims of harassment and threats and bullying. Does the district mean what it says, or are the policies empty words only, with no actual intent to enforce its policies? Why would any school district allow this behavior? You must act now to protect students. I hope you do right by your students and your community.
