I’m not affiliated with Berkeley Public Schools. I’m concerned about the rise of antisemitic behavior in our society as a whole and especially in our schools.

How deprived are educational institutions these days? It is mortifying the terror you are unleashing on students for being Jewish. Stop bullying in schools and persecution.

Please implement a system to fight antisemitism on BUSD campuses. Telling children to keep their heads down and hiding their Jewishness is not an answer.

BHS alumni and so disappointed the lack of support the school is giving students and the level of antisemitism. Unfortunately, based on my experiences as a student, I am not surprised.

As a former proud resident of Berkeley, I am deeply dismayed by BUSD’s failure to listen to, protect, and support all students — and at this time, especially Jewish students.
