We moved here in 2017, and the SRO who parked is car at the front door of our son's middle school was a tremendous comfort and a deciding factor in our enrollment. We 100% support the SROs in our schools!

I 100 percent support SRO for PSD. I pray we keep them because of all the school shootings, and violence I feel it’s safer to keep police officers at the schools.

Our SROs have such wonderful relationships with the kids and their families. Please keep them in the schools. My kids have a very favorable response to police officers partly because of the amazing SRO program. Keep them in our schools.

The presence of SRO’s is extremely valuable in our schools and our community. My own children have personally benefited from the kind and helpful Officers Maynard and Smotherman. In addition to keeping our schools, our children, and school staff safe, they have built trusting and positive relationships with many students and families. To lose this would be a detriment to our community.

Please do not remove SRO’s from our schools. Now more than ever it’s important for the safety of our teachers, staff and children. Don’t let a few bad apples take away the overwhelming positive impact they have in our schools.

Absolutely must keep the SROs in Poudre School District Schools. This misguided vocal and politically motivated minority of a committee recommending removal of SROs is completely out of touch with the OVERWHELMING feedback from the parents of PSD. The board/administration should keep SROs in our schools or resign immediately.

I worked at FCHS for many years. It was very necessary to have the SROs. They were a big part of the school community. My granddaughter is in high school and she says she wouldn’t feel safe without a SRO.
