SROs are an amazing resource for students, not just for safety but to learn how to connect, communicate and respect officers. It's a great way for kids to be able to ask questions and form an important and healthy relationship with our first responders. People who unselfishly put themselves between strangers and danger every day.

We need to hold people personally accountable, not a whole group of people for a peers actions. Please stop the revenge train.

We need to do what’s best for children. Having SROs in our school is what’s best for children. Provide training as needed and guide hiring to fit schools’ needs.

Having taught in both a regular education setting and a Discipline Alternative Campus, in another state. I saw that SRO officers were a tremendous asset to both environments. Keep the SRO officers. in all schools.

In this moment of our society and uncertain times, SRO's are a very important part if our schools. They not only provide an element of protection and safety, but for many kids they are their friends and confidante. So many SRO's have provided a safe place for kids to talk. They have provided clothes, food, etc. They are not just officers.... they are important to the community

The SRO's are a great asset to the schools. They love the kids and work so good with them.
To not have them in the schools would be an in justice. And frankly, very scary.
I believe crime would go up and more children would feel unsafe.

They are a great benefit to the kids in school & build relationships that can last for many years! It is not a pipeline to prison, in fact in can be a diversion from the criminal justice system entirely!!
