I agree, we would have a very long road ahead, however I started this petition to find out how many people in the surrounding areas would be on board with the idea. I actuality didn't need to have any petition to present the idea to the town committee but I figured it would help the cause if there were a significant number of residents in agreement.

As an animal lover, dog trainer, service dog handler, and dog mom I would back this project more seriously if the following was addressed. 1. A purposed location, 2. A reasonable budget for said park, 3. Vaccine and health restrictions for the park. Parvovirus and Caine flu transmission is outrageously high in the area and it's because dogs aren't properly vaccinated. There's also the issue of proper socialization of dogs and maintenance to the park. It's a great idea I just think you have a while to go before going to petition.

I would love to have s dog park in this town only if we have people to make sure it's clean unlike the other parks. We need to keep the druggies out of it ! I've been to several around the state and I loved them. Some had a pond the dog's can swim in.
