This is Unacceptable, when these people exit the shelter on mornings and and also before going in at night they are loitering in the area, smoking cussing, leaning against our vehicles having loud conversations on the phone and acting wild. Most of them are on drugs and this is very unsafe around children in the neighborhood. They also have other people showing up in cars and hanging out till all hours of the morning and sometimes even all night, smoking, litttering, defecating and urinating and around our houses. This is disgusting and unfair to the people in the neighborhood who try to keep our place clean and safe.
Please do something about this, it's out of control!!!

Enough is enough! Jamaica has too many shelters! It should be equally distributed through our 5 boros!

I've had residents of these shelters enter my yard without permission and have come back from work with one resident drinking in my yard at night.

They waste no time putting shelters in impoverished neighborhoods but neglect providing other needed services such as quality schools, clinics, hospitals, etc. I have never seen a shelter in parts of the city that are dominated by White people.
