As a traveler/boat owner, we depend upon our cellular/data service for access to weather reports to keep us safe and in touch with our families. We have paid for a service that you agreed to provide. If we cannot stay safe in the area, we (and others) will choose to travel elsewhere.

Why is it that BTC can't get their act together? The Bahamas is starting to behave like a 3rd world country. I think we will have to start spending out winters further down the Caribbean island chain.

Ownership of BTC was transferred to Bahamian interests a few years ago. Obviously they believe in keeping the company on Bahamian time!!!!!

Unless BTC can move oit of the 19th century, we may spend our winters in the Carib where we can easily get up to date connectivity.

As a yearly winter "resident" I would love to see the communications technology upgraded in the central Exumas.

The availability of data connectivity is an important factor in selecting our cruising locations. We love the Central Exumas. Please improve the service.

Please address these issues so that we may enjoy your pristine islands and continue to provide a source of revenue for local businesses. Unfortunately, if the services are not improved, many travelers who need to stay connected will travel to other places.

Please correct the problems with the wimax issues. It makes it very difficult to stay in touch with family and friends while cruising the Bahamas. The Bahamas is so beautiful make it possible for everyone to show off it's beauty!

I visit the outer islands regularly, and this is always an issue. All the boaters know about it, and I'm glad someone finally put a petition together. Even in remote areas of the Philippines for example, I get better service than I do near my 2nd home in the Bahamas.

Wifi, in the Abaco's, is below par and very frustrating. There is no excuse for the bad reception concidering the monthly charge that we pay.

This past winter we were charged outrageous rates for a pitiful amount of internet. Our account continued to be drained when we were not using it.

We loved our wimax for data however in all the years our landline has never worked yet we continue to be billed. Complaints and reporting have never been addressed. In the last few months the wimax has gone downhill terribly. Dropped calls poor connections slow and laborious. Our cell connection has the same story. At times we have no service of any kind. Pathetic for this day and age.

being able to communicate with family is extremely important to me when visiting the Exumas. Also banking is a must!

Being able to communicate with ailing family members as well as our financial institutions is the greatest worry and only negative that we experience each summer in the Exumas!!

I am from South Africa and travel to the Exumas, very frustrating that they do not have the same or similar internet quality as the rest of the world. Do they know that it is almost 2017 and not the stone ages.....
