I have a small research station near Farmers Cay. Internet is critical to our operations and has been entirely unreliable in the past couple of months. It is impossible for us to function under these circumstances.

As a visitor supporting the Bahamian economy, telecom service is important to me. Last year I bought a phone and hotspot and BTC sims that NEVER worked. Not even under the tower in the Hopetown AB office!

I've decreased the amount of time I spend at my home on Staniel Cay over the past few years as essential services become more and more undependable

As the relative of an Exumas resident, I urge Bahamas Telecomm to provide consistently reliable and capable Internet service to its residents

Improved cellular service would benefit everyone and increase tourism and BTC revenue. Make the investment now!

Improved telecom service in these islands would greatly improve the safety and enjoyment of cruising your beautiful waters

I cruise the Bahamas each winter and rely on good WiFi and cellular service to obtain my weather reports, and to have the comfort of knowing that I can contact emergency services if needed.

Last winter we only went as far south as Norman's. Basically had no BTC service there! Had to go back up to Highborne for any service and that was very weak and slow. We are heading to the whole Exuma chain this coming winter and hope service is better. We are bringing a buddy boat this time and they have concerns also about service there!!!

We must have cell & internet connection while visiting the Exumas because we conduct business while cruising. Because of the poor and undependable service, we have curtailed our cruises to the Exumas until better service is available.

The service that BTC is providing us in the Central Exumas is unacceptable. I have experienced up to 3 days with no communication whatsoever, this is not only appalling it is dangerous.

As you must know, there is a big dead area between Highborne and Staniel Cays, which is the most beautiful paradise in the Bahamas and is highly cruised by the biggest and best yachts entering Bahamian waters, along with the lesser yachts, cruisers and sail boats. But even in paradise, I still want to be connected. Please help! My BaTelCo cell # is 242-421-2128. Dick Pendleton
