Save the butte

I had NO idea these were to be 4 stories. The "Proposed Development" signs say nothing about that.

Very bad idea

I live right across the stree from the proposed development.. there is not enough parking for the current apartment complex as it is. there are some nights you can't find a single open spot on the whole street and parking lot. there isn't enough room for the amount of people that will need space for this development.

Very bad decision........

I own a home in this neighborhood and already people speed down Purcell and down my cul De sac mistaking it for a route to the butte area. I know my family would appreciate not increasing that number and putting my son at risk when he plays out side. There is plenty of undeveloped land elsewhere as I am not opposed to more housing.

Please think this terrible idea through. City planners want their city to grow to provide more tax revenue for them to spend on their pet projects while foregoing schools, roads, police & fire etc. There are a hundred better places in town for more high density housing, don't wreck the butte any more!

We do need affordable housing, but these huge buildings are not the way to accomplish that. This area is important to preserve the way of life around Pilot Butte. I grew up here at the base of the butte, and weve already changed the place too much.

Please don't allow developers to obliterate the landscape that makes this such a wonderful place to live!

This development is not appropriate for the location.

Please allow the people of Bend to voice their concerns and give input about this project.

Housing is needed but tasteful

Please do not build such a big building. Bend prides itself on landscapes and the butte is an in-town icon for tourists and residents.

People need to leave our beautiful area alone. I would love to see what trees we have left remain.

Let's preserve the beauty of Bend and not overcrowd it with more buildings. The more Bend grows the more we lose as a community.
