Common Core is all about more control of education by the federal government and common core standards are inferior to MN standards.

The federal government has taken every part of our lives. They took health care. They want our guns. They want our money. They don`t respect our religion. Now they want my little grand children just like the devil wanted a child in the Steven king movie The storm.LEAVE US ALONE GOVERNMENT!

MN students and schools often out perform other states. Please don't sacrifice our strong education system for a small amount of grant money. That grant money comes with strings, or rather ropes, attached.

The federal government should not be writing curriculum and telling our state what to teach our kids; this is for parents and educators at a state level. This sounds like the first step in losing control of what gets taught to our kids.

It should always be up to the local community and parents as to what is decided on any decisions to be made that directly affects them and their children!

I can hardly believe what I am reading about this Common Core initiative. We need to take a stand and provide great education for our kids, and stop this scam that is being secretly woven into our kids minds.
