Commercial Rezoning of 1465 Corydon and 492 Queenston

STOP the commercial development in our residential neighborhood!

STOP BUILDING HOUSES OR OTHER BUILDINGS THAT DO NOT FIT THE LANDSCAPE AND ASCETIC OF THE AREA

If this happens in River Heights, a precedent is being set!!

Eyesore. Doesn’t fit in with the neighborhood look and style.

This would greatly devalue the property. This cannot happen.

Do NOT want to look out my window to see a parking lot, and with proposed access from MY residential street. Furthermore, there are many, many people walking dogs and a lot of young children walking to school (which is across the street on Corydon) and back. A definite riskier situation. Totally ridiculous!!

I don’t want a residential building torn down for parking lot. Reducing the front yard on Queenston st from 30 feet to 11 feet is not acceptable. Out of character The conditional use may allow a commercial building that exceed 5,000 sf

I disagree with demolishing a house in order to put a parking lot. It will affect the look of Queenston st

This proposed rezoning would have severe, detrimental consequences to our neighbourhood.

Corydon is becoming commercial enough we do not need to start reaching onto the residential streets to build parking lots.

There is plenty of commercial space for lease. This is not needed in River Heights

I have noticed the traffic load on our street getting heavier and heavier over the last few years. Speed is also rising. People are cutting through the area at speeds well over the speed limit. This project will only make things worse

I am totally opposed to this commercial redevelopment in a residential neighbourhood!

Commercial buildings in residential areas are not always a good combo. People living in this area enjoy the quiet residential family neighbourhood. The increased traffic and added cars parking on the residential streets make it unsafe for children and families to enjoy playing and walks.

This proposed business is not appropriate for a quiet residential community

This development should be limited to the existing footprint. Residential and commercial must live together - a vast increase in size destroys this trust to the detriment of the residents of the area. The city is only motivated by the additional revenue, not always the quality of the neighbourhood.
