Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The load on Taylor Road in its current condition is nearly unbearable, and this project will make things significantly worse during rush hours.

Enough with all the cramped housing

Just too many crowded into that area. Be reasonable about overbuilding in this area.

Let’s not have another Taylor Road project go through. Let’s strike this down before they can break ground!

I for one am sick of the mayor and city council’s blatant disregard for the citizens of this community. Aren’t these ridiculous excuses for round abouts bad enough? I was nearly t-boned today by someone who sped right through it on Taylor Road while I was actively in the so called circle. I have had enough! No one on city council will get my vote at the next election! And we don’t need any further development along Taylor Road! Stop!

Awful idea, the government of Columbus has done enough damage to this city as it is. This neighborhood is an unsafe money-grab to take more taxpayer money to fund more awful ideas.

Too much traffic. Marr road is not designed for the current traffic let alone this massive increase.

We do not need to add such a densely populated subdivision in this neighborhood.

This is so wrong to do to Columbus, it’s citizens and the neighborhoods not just around the site but in the area. The amount of traffic it is going to cause on a already strapped road as well as Marr and Rockyford alone should be enough to not rezone. Add in all the mature trees and green space it will wipe out forever is heartbreaking. The influx of kids to Richards school between this addition and the other additions being built, there will be overcrowding and all so a developer who bought the property already zoned as a 2 can make more money. I hope the board does what the council did not do and listen to its citizens and keep it a 2 or no more than a 3. Bigger green zones and bigger natural buffers between the already established neighborhoods. Our community deserves better than what the plans are currently.

I support the efforts because this will bring the property value of the surrounding homes down.

Too many homes for that area.

This is way too many houses on this small amount of land. Too much traffic for existing streets

No way can neighboring additions handle the increase in traffic!! Needs to have a direct access to Taylor Rd

I will address the elephant in the room. By attending the last meeting, it was learned that Joli Development purchased the property, after other developers concluded that is was cost prohibitive to develop. Knowing it was zoned R2, they purchased the land, but stated they couldn't develop cost effectively unless it was zoned R4. Either they made a bad business decision or they knew before hand the city would rezone to R4. The speed of which it was approved, and the rude actions of a couple of the committee members, makes it that more suspect. Cramming 90 houses in this area was never conceived when it was originally zoned R2.. We purchased our houses as investments, and for the original standards set forth by the city. The original standards should be upheld as written At the upcoming council meeting, serious consideration should be given to the current citizens ( Taxpayers)

The idea of having that land built into packed, cheaply built houses makes me sick.
