The council do not have to live in Colton, maybe they should have asked local residents how they would feel sharing the same village as criminals. Not only will this impact our house prices, insurance, schools and congestion, but whom will pay for this plan? Tax Payers... which Gypsy's are NOT!!!

I wish to objection to the proposed site for travellers HG7-3. The areas is unsuitable for the following reasons:
1) poor road access/ road congestion
2) too close to Temple Newsam- a historic site and farm with rare breeds
3) too close to a bridle way used by the public, children and horse riders
4) too close to public parkland which is used by many people for health and recreation .

grid locked most of the day as it
is with out adding to the situation.
Leeds city council should think more
about the well being and safety of

If tax payers are paying for a traveller site I assume they will pay per person per night stayed in order to pay back the investment, kind of like we pay Council tax!

I have to travel through Colton/Selby road daily to see my parents - is a nightmare, congestion is horrendous

Colton congestion is so dangerous, gridlocked in a morning and evening, can take half hour to travel I/2 mile. it is dangerous, CANNOT cope with anymore congestion as well as it being used at a short cut. another 300 cars or more would bring to stand still. Doctors and schools are oversubscribed. Colton Lane East is like an overcrowded Selby Road, the whole infrastructure is not working as it is. DO NOT ADD to this .

The. Area has already pressure on the infrastructure, this would be planning suicide to allow any further development or a Traveller Site.
Common sense says LEAVE WELL ALONE.

The traffic in this area is already awful, bringing more people to the area will cause terrible additional congestion.
This is devastating news, this can not happen.
