I am totally against the development of green belt land.

roads are too congested through Colton, cannot cope with more traffic, its dangerous and gridlocked at rush hour, infrastructure cannot accommodate more houses, cars, schools,doctors oversubscribed

I use this part of temple newsam to ride my bike & go running as there is no path on Bullerthorpe Lane. Also it would have an impact on the park itself.

This area is already very congested and schools are over subscribed, adding more property and a travellers site will add more stress to the infrastructure, schools and a traveller site will destroy the green belt and surrounding park land, again this would cause more problems to an already over subscribed transport network.

Traffic is already horrendous when trying to get into retail park at Colton, this would increase the pressure on all roads surrounding the area.

my parents live her and regularly call to care for them, traffic is horrendous, gridlocked, is dangerous for residents, Colton is already overcrowded and no road infrastructure to cater for the houses already never mind adding to the situation - another 300 cars - the single road through Colton cannot accomodate

we do not need more houses. Colton is too big and no infrastructure to support, roads are a nightmare, can take half hour to get out of Colton in rush hour, it is a country road not a dual carriage way. congestion is appalling. schools, doctors, nurseries are already well oversubscribed, please do not add to this.

Colton village has already been expanded beyond the capacity of its infrastructure. Further erosion of the Temple Newsam green space is unsustainable & unacceptable. Bullerthorpe Lane is a narrow, busy, dangerous road. A travellers' site as indicated is madness. There is plenty of brownfield space within the Aire Valley Action planning area, with easier access to trunk roads & the motorway network. Use this instead.

Temple Newsam is a place of beauty, probably the most impressive parkland area in Leeds. Why spoil it when there are certainly more areas of Leeds that could cater for such a development?

Please help to stop our beautiful greenbelt area from becoming overpopulated. Already there are too many houses without the infrastructure to support them

I am extremely concerned about these plans Colton is an already a built up area. I have lived here for 6 years with the intention of sending my children to the locals schools. I am at a loss at to how this will happen with an additional 150+ houses plus a travellers site. Again I am also at a loss as to how Colton is expected to Manage the extra road traffic when it's already extremely busy. My daughter is 15 month old and I fear that by time she is at the age to start school is will be too populated to a accommodate her ,

My husband & I (both retired) enjoy our walks in temple newsham before walking to sainsburys through the various woodland paths leading into colton village. The greenbelt area proposed for the dwellings links the village & temple newsham together beautifully & should not be taken away. It would be a big shame !

We travel through regulary on the no. 19 bus. We look forward to the long distance views over to emily moor on a clear day. This greenbelt view is enjoyed by everybody who passes through this lovely village. It's not just the local residents who it will affect. Commuters & the public alike will be affected also.

I would like to know if the councillors who dreamed this up would like it instead on there door step! I initially though this was a joke, can't believe its actually reached planning!!

Terrible news we do not want travellers sites in such a beautiful place.

Don't agree with building on green belt or developing gypsy sites on green belt when there are other non green belt site available in the area.

This historical and beautiful area rich in wildlife should be protected.

Further development on such a historically significant area should be resisted. The road network cannot cope with current levels of traffic. An important vista would be lost for ever.
