This community is already struggling with traffic congestion and many local children cannot get into the local school! Ridiculous.

Deeply sadden to hear of these proposals. Colton Village (ironically named) already copes with traffic problems especially on Bullerthorpe Lane and around Sainsbury's, schools and doctors which seem to be full to capacity, not to mention the enormity of the proposed retail develpment at Thorpe Park, Colton. I'm deeply concerned for the future of Colton Village and our community. We do not need 165 more houses and a permanent travellers site. Destroying Colton's green belt and wildlife for this is so disheartening.

Absolute lunacy. Bullerthorpe Lane has access into Temple Newsam estate. These plans will spoil the whole area.

If these plans go ahead I will be expecting a reduction in council tax and compensation for the impact this will have on the value of the house we have just bought.

This is a very bad idea, this area is overpopulated as is it. This will only stretch our already struggling council.

there is too much housing as it is and the affect in bullerthorpe lane would be huge.
A site for travellers would have a disastrous affect on the area and local businesses.
Leave this area as it is!

Absolutely speechless!! It's a disgrace and it will devalue the area as well as the increase in crime rate with a "traveller site" situated close by. Schools cannot accommodate more people!! Leave Colton alone!!

there is not enough school
Places for the local children of Colton as it is. Also the road is already used a a through road and is continuously conjested with citizens who use Colton as a short cut. It is proving very unsafe for local children due to this.

Do not have the school capacity to take in more children, would rather have have some nice scenery to look at instead of 160+ houses

please this can't be allowed to go ahead very very concerned for our children & the future of this lovely area. Please ask yourself before you give this the go ahead " would I be in favour of this if it was on my doorstep" we think we all know the answer to that one NO!

Colton can be grid locked on a morning and evening as it is. We can't have more houses and more cars.

As stated by many above the roads in Colton and the surrounding areas are already over crowded why add more problems to this. Also why has there been no consultation with the residents surely that is needed before this can happy!
