Why at colton? Isn't this supposed to be green belt ? In terms of nature conservation how is this site going to be managed? And how can the local schools accommodate this proposal? And medical and dental surgeries how can they accommodate the amount of people? Then there is the traffic congestion how will this be managed? And will the residents be compensated for the reduction in their property prices if this goes ahead?who has made this decision? Would they be happy to live next to a site like this? And does this mean a reduction in council tax for the locals as their properties will reduce?

Colton has expanded too much in recent years. We can not deal with any more houses. We need the Greenbelt land. My garden backs onto these proposed fields. I feel physically ill that the beauty will be destroyed. The Travellers site meeds to go elsewhere. We all work hard and pay alot of Council tax. We need our houses to keep their price and stay lovely.We do not want them living near us.

I am a resident in the old village of Colton for the past 16 years and a mother of 2 young boys, I am totally opposed to the plans for the reasons already stated. The traffic, over subscribed school, and the local wildlife and green belt. This area costs more to live in for the green belt and the outstanding school than a house just outside of Colton Village. There is no way Colton can accommodate 165 houses, the children or the traffic.

This is virtually the last piece of greenbelt land in this area. Congestion is already a major problem stop the council making things worse.

Our area can't accommodate more houses or a gypsy site. On a personal level the school is oversubscribed and living half a mile from a school that my son may not get into shows that the area has already grown beyond its means. Add to this more traffic and these proposals will dramatically change our lovely village for the worse.

My partner and I moved to Colton 4.5 years ago for its quite village feel and excellent primary school. Should these plans go ahead we may as well throw away the equity we have built in our first family home and are now even less likely to get our baby son (4 months old) into the primary school we had hoped he would go to even four years before he was born. This cannot go ahead!
