What else does East Leeds have to put up with? We have the EastLeeds Orbital Road, the Manston Lane Extension, the Incinerator, a new cemetary, HS2, and thousands of houses on green belt land. Now a gypsy site.. Move it South, I say.

Words fail me on this. Absolute lunacy. Shows how out of touch the local council are. It will be bitterly contested.

The travellers sight would not be welcome. I moved to Colton as there were so many local burglaries linked to the local gypsy / traveller site. We love our new neighbourhood & area. I don't want to see it go downhill.

This is a very bad idea. Unfortunately whilst there are some nice travellers there is still a lot of bad ones around and the local businesses are forever struggling with them.

I object to any proposed development in and around the Colton area on green belt land. The views is one of the many reasons I bought in the area as was the small local shool. Leeds do need houses but these need to be built in residential areas to assist those that can't afford to buy in areas such as Colton. Building in Colton will not allow solve any housing issues.

Colton has already expanded bigger than the local services can provide for schools etc. Roads are constantly busy and blocked on most days

I am totally against the absurd plans to develop this area. The congestion already in this area is very high before such development work which is only going to increase as Thorpe Park develops further

Colton does not need this. There is already too much traffic, despite the reducing speed there is still and excess of traffic cutting through and not obeying this. There are already not enough school places or health services as it is. The council should not be building on green belt land there will be nothing left for our children to enjoy in the future. Temple newsam and Colton are beautiful areas and a traveller site plus this housing will destroy this.

Absolutely outrageous proposals in an area already over populated and over developed with residential and commercial development. Bullerthorpe lane is already blocked in rush hour and Colton lane is a cut through. Speed bumps and reduced speed limit to 20mph are evidence of Colton lane being used as a short cut to selby road. Proposals for more housing at Colton must not be approved for the sake of residents and families already suffering from LCC poor planning

As a Colton resident for the past 20 years I strongly oppose plans to build on green belt land, the roads around and through Colton are a nightmare now never mind adding to it.
