I am concerned about building on green belt land and the travellers site. We moved here to enjoy the close proximity to temple newsam and it's surrounding area so we can walk and take our children there. I'm also concerned about school places in the area. It's tough enough.

I strongly disagree with these plans by Leeds City Council. They are poorly thought out and completely out of touch with the wants and needs of everyone in this part of the city.

It is about time the Council and this government thought about what is best for our country not what is best for people who do not work and/or contribute positive to society

To have an open sight for travellers placed in the middle of temple newsman is the worst idea I have ever heard! They destroy the land they stay on and clutter it with rubbish, they are renowned for causing problems, violence and stealing in the local areas. They will drag the house prices down and destroy a really nice park. I would never take my daughter for a day out at temple newsman and risk have to cross paths with gypsies! They do not integrate and will intimidate the local residents.
The park is such a nice area and having a gypsy site will scare of any events here such as party in the park. I haven't heard anything but negative responses to this idea and do not support it. It will not let affect Colton but garforth, swillington, rothwell, whitkirk and cross gates that are all nice areas.

Can't understand this plan at all. Schools and roads won't be able to cope.

I am opposed to the development of a gypsy site and the housing development. The gyspy site will have an enormous impact on the value of properties in the area. We work hard to be able to afford to live here!!
The housing development will also cause a massive strain on our local school and the roads which are already congested enough.
This cannot go ahead.

Having lived in the area all my life
Having enjoyed those green belt fields as a child (playing) & adult (walking and enjoying the environment I whole heartedly oppose this development .. Especially that of the traveller site as the area needs to be brought more up market / not down

A big no. Ruin the schools and green belt land . put them in a high rise in seacroft or little London.

The area in question is already heavily congested and with other developments plans already happening or planned to happen this would only make things worse.

The local area is a quiet and clean community, this has just happened near my grandma in another area and the area has gone down hill. I dont want this for my area.
Please do not spoil Colton Temple Newsam
