Travellers came to leeds 15 and stayed on Manston Park, they made such a mess of the park

Colton is a lovely place and a travellers site would bring it down, please don't put one here!

A complete disregard for the residents of Leeds 15 especially those in Colton directly affrcted by these plans.Will compensation be given for the crashing house prices?

A big no for both projects. Colton cannot accommodate anymore houses and a traveler site is totally wrong for this area

I object to the travellers site being placed in the grounds of temple newsam. This is a public green space and is there for the public to enjoy you can't just give up a large portion for housing development of any kind.

I live in Colton and we moved hear so are children would have a better life would you what them on your door step

prior to a conversation with a work colleague I had no idea of this development. Surely residents deserve to have their say.

I feel this plan has many flaws. You're building houses which will bring more people to Colton, however the current situation regarding housing is ridiculous. There are too many people living in the area at the moment, the traffic getting out of the area is dangerous and the school is oversubscribed already, to add more houses would be foolish and pointless.

We don't want this

It was with utter shock that I read about the proposed developments on the Leeds City Council website. How can an already over subscribed area in terms of schools and road congestion plus the impact on wildlife really even consider such a development. The traveler site is one which will haunt Leeds City Council if a decision is made to house transient people in this location. Bullerthorpe Lane is already a very dangerous road as traffic accidents and deaths in recent years show. Add to that regular traffic from the travellers site onto this road and there is only one outcome. Sense must come to the fore on this one with Leeds City Council realising they've made a major mistake. I look forward to working with the group to ensure Leeds City Council re-think the proposed housing expansion & travelers site.

We already have a congestion problem in Colton and Bullerthorpe Lane. The local schools are oversubscribed, we can not accommodate anymore houses or caravans. Please think about the local community.

Stop the build

Aberford, shadwell or barwick seem much better options for this.

Nobody wants a bunch of thriving gypo's on their door step. They don't have no respect for the law & the police are too scared to ever deal with them properly
