We need a new school, better roads in East Leeds. There are brown field sites. Why do Leeds councillors feel the need to use green belt? It's cheaper of course than clearing brown field sites. Poor planning and poor vision for the future.

What a stupid idea. The area is already over populated, the roads are a rat run for cars taking short cuts. Travellers planning policy says planning should respect settled communities as well as a whole load of other reasons why this should not be approved!

The school can't cope with the houses in the area at the moment. With no possibility to expand out or up! It is rediculous to think any more houses in this small village are sustainable!

Should not be allowed on this land. There has been no consultation with local residence by Labour council and will have significant negative effect on local property values.

I am in total disbelief since hearing about these plans. How anyone could think that blighting a beauty spot with this idea is beyond me. I just can't believe it. It sickens me to think that the outragous amount we pay for council tax in this area will be used for the benefit of people who have contributed nothing. If these plans for a Traveller site go ahead it will probably reduce the value of our homes. We worked so hard to aford the costs of living in this beautiful area. This site needs to be put somewhere that if wouldn't have an impact on house prices. We won't even want to take the kids for a walk or bike ride and will have to go somewhere in the car instead. Would Leeds City council consider doing this at Roundhay park? I don't think so.

Why do travellers need a site building, they're called travellers for a reason! Besides they never respect the sites and leave them in a real state so it's a total waste of TAX PAYERS money!
This is so wrong on many levels
Please no travellers. It's so busy here already.
No thank you
Brown field sites first....
