This is ridiculous!! I have horses in colton and if this goes head I sha be moving them which will effect the small yards business and I'm sure I won't be the only one! I couldn't get my son into the local school as its over populated and you plan on adding more people. Totally joke and thoughtless!

It is disgusting they are even thinking of placing a traveller's site near a nice residential area. If you need to put the low life people anywhere puy them away from where there are easy targets for their steeling habits. Outraged.

I have been saving for over a year and working like a dog to improve my credit score in the hope that my partner and I can buy a house in this area. To say that this would put us off is an understatement. Our family live in East Leeds but it would definitely still put us off.

Local Government planning teams should have been tasked with checking the viability of local infrastructure and suitability of the location for any development. Part of theircrole should be to engage with the local residents and work with them to ensure the plans can accomodate the issues that impact their enviroment.
More thought and consultation is required. Why introduce a traveller site into an established community when travellers do not want to be part of society or outside their own community, these sites should be better positioned to their needs and not thrust onto unsuspecting communities

No to this as my child can't get in local school as no room so have to drive to Garthforth and they have already built 500new house with no new schools it outrageous

There are already too many houses in the Colton area. The proposed build will cause traffic congestion.
