This is a complete joke. Colton is a beautiful area and this will not only impact on the environment but on the residents, traffic, value of our property. This idea is beyond ridiculous.

Absolutely not, we've (Whitkirk, Colton and Garforth) paid a lot of money to live here. Drains, schools will be over run.

Colton is already congested. Schools are over subscribed. Wildlife will be at risk. A traveller site would be detrimental to the environment. This is a lovely community that has the advantage of local walks and beauty spots. People work hard to live in an area like this. Local doctors and dentists are already over subscribed and getting appointments is hard. Colton population cannot cope with any more. New builds and traveller sites would ruin the upkeep of local wildlife habitats and conservation areas

People of this area have worked hard to afford to live in this beautiful area. Why should they have that jeopardised by those who take what they want and don't adhere to the rules etc.

More homes just add to the existing local flooding problems. More concrete, less green belt and more devastation that flooding causes = NO THANKS

Such an ill conceived idea.

This is a ludicrous idea. The crime rate will rise dramatically in what is an affluent area. House prices will drop. What about all of us people who wok damn hard to live round here!!! This needs to be stopped!

I live on Meynell Road opposite the proposed development which will be on GREENBELT LAND. It will make our current country lane a through road and the current primary school is already full to capacity.

I am concerned that the lack of infrastructure will not support the housing development planned.
